Over the past decade, Hong Kong’s overall consumer prices have risen by more than 20%¹. Food prices have increased by an average of 3.1% a year¹, and in the first half of 2025 the Composite CPI was 1.7% higher year on year² – pushing up household living costs. With the brand mission “Always Fresh, Always Value, Always Here for You”, Wellcome has launched its Everyday Value price-lock from 5 September, fixing low prices on 100 everyday essentials. The initiative spans fresh food and groceries – including vegetables, meat, bread, eggs, milk and more – with savings of up to 40%. Selected fresh items will also come in larger packs at no extra cost, so customers get more for the same price. This Everyday Value price-lock represents a dedication to customers, highlighting Wellcome's unwavering commitment to bringing customers great value and high-quality fresh food. We hope to work with Hong Kong residents to combat inflation and save more on daily groceries.

Real savings families can feel
For a typical three-person household, a basket of 13 everyday favourites – tissues, toothpaste, milk, meat, fresh vegetables, olive oil and more – would cost only around $570 under the price lock, saving over $500). Over a year, that could add up to as much as $6,100* — that’s real, everyday value customers can feel.
*Based on purchasing the selected bundle once a month, saving $515.5 each time.

HK-style design with unique Chinese calligraphy by local artist
Wellcome has partnered with local, 1990s-born calligrapher “巫墨筆歡” (Momography House), who wrote the Everyday Value campaign title in original ink-brush calligraphy. The crafted strokes capture the Everyday Value spirit – underscoring Wellcome’s confidence in the initiative and its determination to keeping prices down and bringing great savings for customers.
