Rising Needs on Mental Health and Emergency Recovery
Communities across Asia continue to face complex challenges, from rising mental health needs to recovery following unexpected crises. Supporting wellbeing, resilience and recovery require long term commitment, trusted partnerships and coordinated action that responds to both immediate needs and systemic challenges.
Driving Collective Actions to Improve Inclusive Wellbeing

DFI continued its long-standing collaboration with MINDSET, a charity dedicated to supporting underserved mental health communities. Across markets, colleagues and customers came together to raise awareness, funds and collective action in support of mental well‑being.
In 2025, 639 DFI team members participated in MINDSET’s annual Virtual Race of Walk Up Jardine House in Hong Kong, collectively achieving over 76.8 million steps. The initiative reinforced cross-banner participation while fostering a culture of well-being and shared purpose across the Group.
In Singapore, community engagement extended beyond fundraising. More than 1,700 team members and their families, together with 200 beneficiaries from MINDSET and Care Community Services Society, took part in the annual Family Carnival, celebrating the S$230,000 raised through the in‑store donation box programme. The initiative supported mental health programmes while also providing assistance to families and children in need.
Responding to Community Crisis in Hong Kong

In response to the tragic Tai Po fire in Hong Kong, DFI mobilised a coordinated Group-wide relief effort. Working closely with government agencies and NGO partners, DFI and its brands, including Mannings, Wellcome Hong Kong, 7-Eleven Hong Kong, IKEA Hong Kong and yuu, together with the support of Hong Kong Maxim’s Group, contributed HK$12 million in cash and HK$8 million in kind to support affected residents.
Beyond immediate relief, DFI also supported interim recovery. Families moving into transitional housing received DFI Care Packs and bed frames, containing daily essentials, food, drinks and wellness products to help restore comfort and stability during recovery.
DFI’s community giveback efforts aim to address both immediate needs and longer-term challenges—supporting mental well-being, strengthening resilience and helping communities recover and rebuild with dignity.
