7-Eleven Singapore officially launched the Take Five Spot at the second edition of the 7-Eleven Run at Marina Barrage, marking a new chapter in the brand's community impact programme.

The Take Five Spot is 7-Eleven Singapore's first in-store self-care initiative, turning dine-in spaces into self-care touchpoints offering customers self-guided breathing exercises as well as mental well-being resources from MindSG, a one-stop online portal to help Singaporeans care for their mental health and well-being.
Located in more than 60 stores islandwide, the Take Five Spot responds to Singapore's growing focus on mental wellbeing and the importance of a whole-of-society approach, with businesses encouraged to play a role in making mental wellbeing resources and early support more accessible.
The launch was attended by Guest-of-Honour Ms Tin Pei Ling, Member of Parliament for Marine Parade-Braddell Heights GRC (MacPherson Division), alongside 7-Eleven Singapore's senior leadership and representatives from the Singapore Children's Society.

To mark the launch, 7-Eleven set a new Singapore Book of Records title for the Largest Mass Box & Five Finger Breathing Exercise, bringing together more than 468 participants for a shared moment of pause through Five Finger Breathing and Box Breathing exercises.
7-Eleven's Community Impact Journey
The Take Five Spot marks the next chapter of 7-Eleven's community impact programme. In the past three years, 7-Eleven's community efforts have centred on children and youths through fundraising, volunteerism and partnerships with organisations including Children's Wishing Well, Care Community Services Society and, more recently, the Singapore Children's Society. These efforts and commitment have been recognised by the National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre, which named DFI Retail Group Singapore, including 7-Eleven, as a Champion of Good.

The 7-Eleven Run brought together close to 4,000 participants — up from 2,500 at last year's inaugural edition — across four race categories a 10km Competitive Run, a 5km Competitive Run, a 7-Eleven Quest — an Amazing Race-style challenge exclusive to 7-Eleven and a new category: 1.6km Parents and Kids Fun Walk. Participants also had the opportunity to engage with 7-Eleven's community and corporate partners and experience the newly launched Take Five Spot initiative at the Race Village.
